In order to get a Driver License, you have to pass DMV Driving Test which is also known as “Behind The Wheel Driving Test”. Driving Performance Evaluation Score Sheet
Driving test has two categories.
To pass the Driving Test, you must have no more than 3 errors marked for items 9-14 under PRE-DRIVE CHECKLIST and no marks in the CRITICAL DRIVING ERROR section and no more than 15 errors marked for the Scoring Maneuvers.

CRITICAL DRIVING ERRORS
- Intervention by examiner: This means, in any situation if your examiner feels obliged to take the steering wheel from a potential crash or pushes the break not to hit an object, this means you did a critical driving error and you failed.
- Strikes object/curb: If somehow, you hit the curb, another vehicle, pedestrian or any other object, this means you failed.
- Disobeys traffic sign or signal: Traffic signs such as “stop sign” are very important. For example, if you didn’t make a full stop at the stop sign and wait at least 2-3 seconds on halt, you fail.
- Disobeys safety personnel or safety vehicles
- Dangerous maneuver
- Speed
- Auxiliary equipment use
- Lane violation

But for a new driving test, you have pay $ 7. If you fail all three driving tests, you have to start over and take the written test once again.
